Let’s talk about the best rap bitch in the business, Nicki Minaj, throwing round bars with the up and coming beat building baddie Doja Cat. First off, let me say that I have skipped a whole day of classes to listen to “Queen” when it came out and Doja Cat is the only artist I’ve ever seen in concert. I am completely loco bonkers for these ladies and probably have enough credit hours in twerking in front of my mirror before a shower to major in it. So when the Say So remix came out today I just about screamed.
Say So, recognizable from the hit TikTok trend, is a generation defining song with an insanely catchy chorus. I would say that Doja is probably the queen of straight of vibe creation. Her bars are fire of course but nobody makes me quite as weak with their lyrics as miss Chun-Li. Every song that Nicki has remixed has cranked it to 11. Let’s just remember The Way Life Goes Remix please, like honestly. I think every song was actually meant to start with a Nicki verse.
Times are real tough right now. We’re stuck in our houses with nothing going on and we got a lot of energy to release. The most important thing right now is that we find a way to channel our energy into something productive. So put on this remix, Nicki will have you feeling like a bad ass totally making you forget that you just got 30% on your chem test, and Doja will have you body rolling and poppin’ that ass in such ergonomic rhythmic motion the back pain from sitting in zoom meetings will melt away.
