MD's Weekly Digest: Week Five
Hey y’all! Week five it is! I feel like I just did one of these not too long ago and I’m even more confused as to what day it is because it turns out April is almost over. Unfortunately, I don't really have any other updates for ways to support local businesses but, all I can say is I encourage you to check out their social media, see what they are doing for online sales and support them in any way you can along the way.
For this week’s music selection, it’s honestly a pretty good line up if I do say so myself. Our very own WVUM alumni Gianfranco aka Nouel Blanc released another song of his which I absolutely love, and would highly recommend. And, as someone who has never been super into Jamie xx, I gotta say, I really enjoyed the newest single of his. And lastly, the album everyone has been talking about, Fiona Apple’s Fetch the Bolt Cutters, which has received beyond great reviews across the board. And as I am listening to it right now, I can’t comment on the whole album but, I actually did not enjoy the first few songs. Although, as the album has progressed, I think it has gotten better so we shall see where it goes. Plus, so many more artists that have released music this past week! I enjoyed them all and I hope you do too! :)
