Presidential Candidate Interview

This Wednesday, our News Director and host of the Crescent City Connection, Ezra Remer sat down with Miramar Mayor and Democratic Presidential Primary Candidate, Wayne Messam as he details his presidential run and experiences as Mayor of Miramar, Florida. As the only Floridian candidate currently running, Messam details his background as a first-generation American growing up in a Jamaican immigrant house where his father worked as a sugar cane farmer. Messam focuses on his plan to forgive all college debts, a centerpiece of his platform. He also touches on his personal experiences with gun violence and his gun regulation proposals. Lastly, as a environmentally sustainable contractor by trade, Mayor Messam discusses environmentalism and the impending realities brought about by climate change.
