About the Show: Every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Megan takes listeners on a trip back to her homeland as she nostalgically explores British rock music of the 2000s, an era which the English colloquially refer to as “the noughties”. Around this time was when Megan first started attending festivals and concerts on a regular basis, so hosting the show is an interesting retrospective experience for her. She hopes that listeners will find the show a bit educational along with entertaining considering that such a low percentage of this music ever became popular in the states, while in the UK the same bands were topping the charts. She also provides anecdotes, bits of trivia, and decodes British slang in relation to the songs she plays to engage listeners.
