Michael Matthiesen

Michael is proud to have joined the University of Miami and WVUM 90.5 FM in August of 2009. Michael started off as a rotation DJ and became Underwriting Director for WVUM that December. Along with his rotation show “Mike’s Not Really Short Show”, Michael also co-hosts Counterpoint the political talk show every Friday from 1-2pm. Michael enjoys really talking about what is going on in Washington and a cross the world with his co-hosts Wes and Vinny. But Michael also likes joking around with fellow DJ’s that stop by “Mike’s Not Really Short Show” on Fridays from 7-9pm. You can usually find him in the WVUM office, on the third computer in the back. Michael enjoys the friends and awesome times he has had while at WVUM 90.5 FM.
